"Love one another"

Welcome to the Parish of St Clement of Rome, Bulleen. We warmly invite you to join us in our celebration of the Mass and the sacraments and be a vital part of our community of faith. Coming together at Mass we are of course gathering as the Body of Christ to give glory to God and to express our gratitude for his outstanding gifts to us, His children as God's beloved children, Jesus reminds us that "when there is need there is love owing" from us. Therefore may I invite you to browse our website and perhaps be moved to join in one of our various groups or ministries involved in our daily and weekly celebrations or community outreach to the needs.  May God continue to bless you and your loved ones abundantly and richly.

CDF Pay for Parishes

Thanksgiving online payment portal

During this time, when visits to our Church are suspended, we are striving to ensure that our parishioners remain connected through new and creative pastoral programmes. While we continue to help those in our community the parish continues to incur ongoing overhead costs and we need your help.

The good news is that Catholic Development Fund (CDF) and the Archdiocese of Melbourne/Diocese of Sale/Diocese of Bunbury have partnered to build an online parish payment portal, CDFpay for                Parishes.

This site enables you to make quick and easy online thanksgiving payments – you can set-up a recurring payment, if you haven’t done so already, or you can choose a one-off offering.

St Clement of Rome Parish site is live and can be found via this link   CDFpay for St Clement of Rome Bulleen

We thank you in advance for supporting our parish community.

In light of today’s historic decision from the High Court, please find below a Statement,  to the Faithful from Archbishop Comensoli.

Spiritual Communion

During this time, as we are unable to gather at Church, you may share in communion by an act of faith that is entirely spiritual. The Church encourages us to make an act of “spiritual communion,” where we unite ourselves to God through prayer. It is a beautiful way to express to God our desire to be united with him when we are unable to complete that union in the reception of Holy Communion.

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You

were already there and unite myself

wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.
